Another instalment of my Bagnall/Bagnell ancestors. This is my great grandfather.

Samuel Bagnall (son of William Bagnall and Mariah Smith) and his wife, Elizabeth Stephenson, had the following children:

They had one son, Henry Cartier who lived in Detroit. Ray, please let me know if I’m sending you too much information, perhaps you just want dates and places briefly and not my sources. However, I always feel that sources are so very important and that is why it takes me a long time to do a family because I take photocopies of every event and they all have to be entered and filed. As you know ages at marriage and death are sometimes at odds with birth dates and names do get mixed up. Certainly census returns are very bad for this.
